eople buy from people they know and like. And there’s absolutely no better way to build a relationship in order for prospects to like you now and forevermore, than by giving them a call on the day that means so much to them: their birthday.
This shows that you care, that they really matter to you, and that fact that you personally took the time out to call them can mean the world to them…and in the long run equal more sales for you.
If nothing else, you’ve done a good deed for the day, which as Karma has it, will eventually make its way back to you.
Showing that extra attention to prospects is more important than ever because people are so busy and distracted nowadays. “But how can I call all of my prospects, wouldn’t that be time consuming?” Good question!
Think about it this way: If a prospect was deciding between purchasing your product or service or going with your competition, do you think the “birthday call” would make you stand out, and help you get the sale?
If the answer is YES, then make it happen! Obviously if you have 1 million eyeballs vying for your attention, this approach may not be needed, but in competitive markets this can be really helpful.
