his is a variation of Kevin Kelly's "1,000 True Fans". What makes this even MORE powerful is limiting the number to 100 and being connected with them via sms and voice.
When you think about it, the success of professional sports like the NBA, NFL, MLB, is not because it has a ton of customers. It’s because they have a ton of loyal “fans.” The difference between a fan and customer is that customers can be fickle, but true fans will ride or die with you whether you’re winning or losing.
What you want are fans, not just customers. And you can turn your first 100 happy customers into fans by treating them like you would treat your family.
It may take 500 customers to find your top 100, but these are the customers that will freely share how much they love your product or service with the world, which is the best form of advertising. You can bank on that!
