Although we live in a mobile world, people still like face-to-face interaction and a trade show is one of the best ways to do it.
Conversely, companies are moving away from live tradeshows and focusing their energy on virtual tradeshows due to recent virus outbreaks. Although you are not able to build the same type of rapport with attendees and vendors as you would with face to face interaction, you are able to multiply your efforts by using technology to follow-up.
You can interact in the comments sections of virtual trade shows and connect with individuals at companies that you think would be a good fit for your product or service. Either you or someone on your team can manually create a list of your “top 10” prospects, follow up via pone and email, then create an automated marketing sequence that builds long term credibility and interest.
